POSITION: Certified Nurse Midwife / Womens Health Mid-Level Provider

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Womens Health Mid-Level Provider will conduct womens health care services and reports directly to the Medical Director. The Womens Health Mid-Level Provider will perform medical services, considering individual cultural, psychological, social, and environmental factors for OB/GYN patients. Part of the Womens health will include prenatal and post-partum care, preventative care visits such as Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Screenings. Other aspects of the Womens Health scope of work will include contraceptive prescriptions, Sexually Transmitted Diseases treatments, GYN problems.

Mid-Level Provider must be able to identify the health status of patients by taking medical histories, performing examinations, and conducting the treatment. Document and maintain patient records on Electronic Medical System. Mid-Level Provider is under the supervision of designated Medical Doctor will need to be able to demonstrate the best professional skill and teamwork. Participation in QI/QA, Patient Satisfaction Survey, Peer Review, PCMH may be required. S/he will perform other duties as assigned.

The Mid-Level Provider is responsible to maintain requirements for CME, BLS, Trainings and updated license.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Mature judgement, discretion and confidentiality are mandatory. Requires a professional, pleasant, and effective representation of the corporation. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Drivers License. Must submit to and pass a drug test and a criminal background clearance as a pre-condition for employment. Physical exam is required along with TB Test and proof of vaccinations for Hepatitis B, TDAP, MMR, Flu, COVID-19 and Booster.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a certified Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Certified Midwife.
